Lavandin oil has been obtained by steam distillation and has not been denatured or mixed with other oils, what ensures the properties of the essential oil.Lavandula hybrida is an evergreen shrub that can reach 80cm in height and is present in Spain, the south of the UK and France, especially in communities in mountain areas, in bushes. The leaves are linear-oblong and its flowers are fragrant, hermaphrodite and blue or violet. They bloom in August and are arranged in terminal spikes. The whole plant gives off a camphorated smell.
